
Houston is expecting changing weather during Pride events and Beyoncé’s performance. On Saturday, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., with a high near 91 degrees and mostly clear skies in the evening. On Sunday, the chance of showers increases to 80 percent, and thunderstorms are likely. There will be "widespread haze after 2pm," according to the National Weather Service, which may affect visibility and air quality. Winds will shift from southeast to south at 5 to 10 mph.
As festivities wind down, Monday and Tuesday are expected to bring a 40 percent and 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, respectively. Temperatures may climb to around 95 degrees Tuesday. Houston is monitoring a tropical disturbance, AL91, with a 50% chance of development over the next 48 hours and into the next week. A plume of Saharan dust is expected to reach southeast Texas by Sunday, bringing hazy conditions through at least Wednesday and possibly affecting people with respiratory issues.
