Summer at Lincoln Center is poised to become a more delicious affair as Festival Food Trucks roll in, featuring a wide array of culinary offerings from top New York chefs. The food truck lineup, part of the venue's annual "Summer for the City" event series, includes acclaimed restaurants like Golden Diner, Saga, and KJUN, according to an announcement covered by Harlem World Magazine. With the support of partners like Chase and United Airlines, the food trucks will serve up their dishes at accessible price points, adding a diverse flavor profile to the cultural festivities.

Adding to the mix will be Kwame Onwuachi's Patty Palace, a spin-off from the chef's popular restaurant, Tatiana, which launched back in 2022. As reported by NY Eater, Patty Palace is setting up a food stand at Lincoln Center Plaza to serve curried chicken patties and other treats alongside the nightly shows from tomorrow through August 9. Each food vendor, operating from Wednesday to Sunday, will complement the center's traditional dining options that are open throughout summer.

In a statement obtained by Harlem World Magazine, Paul Needham, CEO of The Infatuation, expressed excitement about the collaboration. "Festival Food Trucks is a unique way to support local chefs and restaurateurs, experience the range of flavors and cultures that define New York, and make the most of summer in the city," he said. Visitors at the festival can collect stamps on a Culinary Passport offered by United Airlines with the reward of a luggage tag after their fourth visit, alongside the opportunity to win a gift card and reservation to Onwuachi's Tatiana.

Frank Nakano, Head of Sports & Entertainment Marketing at JPMorganChase, emphasized supporting local businesses and celebrating New York's diverse communities in a statement to Harlem World Magazine. "By teaming up with Lincoln Center, we’re backing local businesses; bringing together the rich culinary and cultural heritage of our city," Nakano said. The partnership aims to create communal spaces enriched with arts and flavors that are quintessential to New York's identity.
