Early Tuesday morning, in a daring heist, a Woodland Hills jewelry store became the scene of a burglary as three masked suspects infiltrated the premises, an incident that was promptly reported to the Los Angeles Police Department at approximately 3:28 a.m., according to KTLA.
The thieves, described as men donned in masks and hooded sweatshirts, executed the break-in at Jean Pierre Jewelers, located on Ventura Boulevard. They were said to have made a stealthy getaway in an unidentifiable vehicle through the back of the store before the authorities arrived, this was complicated because a hole was found in the ceiling of the adjacent business, a gym, raising suspicions that it might have been the burglars' entry point, though this theory remains unconfirmed by the LAPD as the suspects remain at large.
Detectives are considering the possibility that these individuals might also be responsible for a similar crime targeting another jewelry store in close proximity Topanga area the day prior, as stated by FOX LA, suggesting a methodical approach in their criminal spree.
