Bryant, bringing three decades of public service to his new position, is poised to direct County departments and agencies for over 1.2 million residents, tasked with formulating an annual budget north of $2.5 billion and translating the Board of County Commissioners' objectives into tangible outcomes, he has served as deputy county manager for the past five years and his commitment echoed through his acceptance speech, "I assume this role with great honor, appreciation, gratitude, and humility," Bryant asserted, according to Mecklenburg County News.
The swearing-in ceremony brought together various community leaders, with Kristine M.
