Monroe Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred early Sunday morning. The incident took place around 1:03 a.m. at the intersection of W. Roosevelt Blvd. and Morgan Mill Rd, as reported by the Monroe Police Department.
Officers arrived at the scene and found an unconscious woman who had been struck by a car and was not breathing. Despite efforts by both officers and medical personnel to revive her, the woman later died from her injuries, as stated by the Monroe Police Department.
According to the Monroe Police Department on their Facebook page, the Traffic Division is investigating a fatal incident that occurred overnight.
