In a recent joint operation in Holyoke yesterday, multiple law enforcement agencies seized drugs, cash, and a firearm. The Holyoke Police Narcotics Task Force, DEA agents, and Massachusetts State Police conducted the operation targeting suspected open-air drug activity.

According to the Holyoke Police Department's Facebook post, authorities confiscated over 75 grams of cocaine, more than 100 bags of a heroin/fentanyl mixture, and a loaded firearm. Several individuals were arrested during the operation.

Michael Rivera and Jose Torres were taken into custody after being observed in suspected drug transactions. Torres was found with ten bags of heroin at the time of his arrest, and Rivera faces charges including conspiracy and drug distribution. In a separate incident, Nestor Quinones and Vieshaun Davis were arrested. Davis was found with a stolen loaded firearm, a significant amount of cocaine, and over $2,000 in cash.

Additional arrests took place in other areas of Holyoke. Teofilo Rosado was arrested on Cabot Street following a suspected drug deal. Raul Hernandez was detained near Sergeant Street in connection with drug activity.

The suspects face various charges. Rivera, 33, is charged with drug distribution and possession. Torres, 30, faces conspiracy and drug distribution charges. Davis, 44, and Hernandez, 44, face charges related to firearms and drug trafficking. Quinones, 43, is charged with distribution and had an outstanding warrant. Rosado, 56, faces drug possession charges.
