
The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking help from the public in finding a missing endangered juvenile, identified as 15-year-old Ammaar Andrews. According to the information provided by the police department, Ammaar is about 5'4" tall and weighs roughly 115 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, pants, and black sandals.
Officials note that the last known sighting of Ammaar was captured on surveillance footage from his home on the 4400 block of Oakmont Street. The timestamp of the footage indicates he left at around 2:47 a.m. last Tuesday. Since then, the details surrounding his disappearance, including the intended destination or the reason for his abrupt departure, have remained largely unknown, though it is speculated that he may be attempting to make his way to New York.
The police are urging anyone who might have any information about Ammaar’s location to come forward. In an appeal to the public, the Philadelphia Police Department has provided contact details for the Northeast Detective Division at 215-686-3153. They have also emphasized the urgency of the situation by advising individuals that they can also dial 911 if they have immediate information regarding the juvenile’s whereabouts.
