The Philadelphia Police Department has called upon the community for assistance in finding Kailah Khaalid, an 11-year-old girl reported missing from the 35th District. According to the department's official news release, Kailah was last seen on Monday, around 10:00 p.m., in the vicinity of the 5000 block of Franklin Street.
Kailah is described as being around 5’4" tall and weighing approximately 120 lbs., with a dark brown complexion, black hair, and brown eyes. When she was last spotted, she was wearing a dark blue hoodie, blue jeans, and green Crocs. She may also have been wearing a blue surgical mask, a detail that adds an additional element to her description and thus, hopefully, to her swift location.
Authorities continue their efforts to trace Kailah’s whereabouts and ensure her safe return. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the Northwest Detectives Division at 215-686-3353.
