Philadelphia's Central Detective Division is currently requesting assistance from the public in identifying several individuals connected to a recent robbery incident. The robbery, caught on video, occurred late last month, and the police have released footage and images hoping to receive tips that could lead to arrests, according to a statement on the Philadelphia Police Department's official website.
The incident took place last Monday, where the victim was reportedly assaulted from behind on the 1300 block of Susquehanna Avenue. The assault unfolded around 6:15 pm, and the suspects, after knocking the individual to the ground, proceeded to punch and kick the complainant, and then they fled with their belongings. Among the stolen items were various forms of identification, along with credit and debit cards, all contained in the victim's bag. The suspects were last spotted escaping southward on 2100 Park Ave.
Those with information about the incident or who can identify the suspects in the video and images are encouraged to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously, ensuring that those who provide assistance can do so without involving their personal identity. The Philadelphia Police Department has made a dedicated effort to circulate the video and still photos to garner public input, which may facilitate the capture of the involved parties.
The Central Detective Division's contact details are readily available on their website for anyone looking to provide information related to the case.
