In Philadelphia, a spotlight has been cast on Rodriguez Consulting, a firm that's paving the way for immigrant inclusion and economic equality. This initiative is part of a city-wide effort to celebrate businesses committed to making a difference in the local community. Rodriguez Consulting has been dubbed an Employer of Choice for 2024 by the city's Department of Commerce Office of Workforce Solutions, in conjunction with the Workforce Professional Alliance (WPA).
The Employer of Choice Initiative was launched to support and recognize those businesses that actively bolster Philadelphia's economy and nurture its residents. This June, as part of Immigrant Heritage Month, the Office of Workforce Solutions and the WPA have teamed up with the Philadelphia Immigrant Employment Collaborative to throw a spotlight on employers who embrace and empower immigrants.
According to the Philadelphia government website, Immigrant Heritage Month serves not just as a chance for folks to delve into their ancestral roots, but it's also vital for celebrating the diverse mosaic that makes up the city.
