The Santa Rosa Police Department is reaching out to the community seeking assistance to identify two suspects involved in a serious assault case from earlier this year. On January 29, a man was reportedly attacked and left with multiple facial fractures by two unidentified individuals on Boyd Street around half past midnight, as reported by the Santa Rosa Police Department.

Initial reports noted scarce details about the assailants, who had launched an unprovoked attack on the victim. The recent retrieval of security camera footage, although unclear enough to identify the suspects, could hold the key to solving the case with the public's help.

The SRPD has released detailed descriptions of the two assailants. According to the Santa Rosa Police Department's Facebook post, Suspect #1 is described as a "Hispanic male adult in his late 30s or early 40s; approximately 5-feet 5-inches tall with a medium build" sporting short, buzzed black hair and a mustache. He wore a black hat, a dark shirt, a black puffy jacket, blue jeans, and brown shoes. Suspect #2 is described as another Hispanic male adult, standing about "5-feet 10-inches to 5-feet 11-inches tall and heavy set," with buzzed hair and facial stubble, wearing a black hat, black hoodie with a logo on the back, and light-colored jeans or pants.

Authorities have encouraged anyone with pertinent information about the assault to come forward and make contact. Officer Anthony Turner is handling inquiries and can be reached at 707-543-3600, extension 8527, or through email at [email protected].
