Seattle residents can look forward to a stretch of sunny skies and warm temperatures. In their latest update, the NWS provided a detailed forecast predicting a predominantly sunny week ahead, including a pleasant high of 78 degrees today, with calm winds solidifying into a northwesterly breeze by the afternoon, as reported by the National Weather Service in Seattle, WA. This gentle wind pattern is expected to continue into the evening, potentially offering respite from the day's warmth as temperatures dip to a low of around 55 degrees tonight.
The weekend doesn't skimp on sunshine either, with Saturday slated to remain sunny and the thermometer again climbing to a high near 78, although the light and variable winds from the morning will settle into a northwest direction at 5 to 9 mph. As the days progress, the promise of sunlight holds no betrayal, Sunday's forecast shows a sunny high nearing a balmy 84 degrees, and the trend of clear nights continues with an expected low around 61.
With the workweek's return on Monday, so too does the vibrant sunshine, according to the National Weather Service, forecasting a high of around 85 degrees to start the week and a shift to partly cloudy conditions come Monday night, with the low settling around 59 degrees. The days following appear to usher in a slightly cooler but still generous offering of sun, as Tuesday's mostly sunny high is anticipated to be near 81 degrees, with a descent into the mid-50s by night, says the NWS forecast.
Midweek predictions hold that Wednesday will not deviate from the established pattern, serving up more sunshine and a daytime high peaking near 74 degrees, however, cloud cover might creep in as the sun sets with the low hovering around 52 degrees. The forecast, though still promising some sun for Thursday, suggests a partly sunny day with temperatures a touch cooler, expected to reach a high near 68 degrees, keeping Seattleites within the embrace of temperate spring days for just a while longer.
