
A drug bust in Seattle's Chinatown-International District led to the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of cocaine, fentanyl, and cash, Seattle police reported. The incident unfolded last Saturday afternoon when patrol officers observed questionable activities at the corner of 12th Avenue South and South Jackson Street.
According to the Seattle Police Department, two suspects, a man and a woman, both in their 40s, were seen engaging in what appeared to be drug transactions. Officers intervened, resulting in the arrest of both individuals. The woman was found to have an outstanding felony narcotics warrant. Upon searching the suspects and their vehicle, police found additional illicit substances and money.
The haul included 11.2 grams of crack cocaine, 13.0 grams of fentanyl, $995 in cash, along with various items of drug paraphernalia. Both suspects have subsequently been booked into the King County Jail. The Narcotics Unit is set to take over the investigation.
