The National Weather Service in Seattle projects a shift toward clearer skies following a cloudy start today. Temperatures are climbing to a pleasant 66 degrees amidst light breezes that will start variable before setting into a southerly direction at around 5 mph as the morning progresses. This information was provided by the National Weather Service's latest update.
Seattle's residents can expect a dip in temperature tonight, dropping to an anticipated 51 degrees. While unassertive, the wind will shift to the northwest at a gentle 5 mph come evening. The weekend promises gentle weather with mostly cloudy skies on Saturday, giving way to increasing sunshine as the day unfolds. A high of around 70 degrees is expected, with a cautionary light and variable wind picking up slightly in the afternoon from the west-northwest.
The upward trend in clarity continues into Saturday night, which is forecasted to be mostly clear with lows hovering near 50 degrees. The start of the new week will continue this trend, with the NWS predicting mostly sunny days and a high of 74 degrees by Monday. Nonetheless, Seattleites might want to keep an umbrella at hand as a slight chance of showers enters the forecast by Monday night, particularly after 11 PM.
Looking further ahead, the weather for the coming Juneteenth holiday is predicted to be partly sunny with high temperatures near 70 degrees. While the day is still a distance ahead, signs point to a holiday free from the shackles of rainfall. As we advance through the week, the chance of showers persists, specifically on Tuesday and again on Wednesday, although partly sunny skies are also part of the package with highs around 70 degrees, according to the NWS forecast.
