A Tecumseh man is facing serious charges after a coordinated effort by local law enforcement agencies brought to light his alleged involvement in child pornography. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported that on April 8, the Bixby Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit received a concerning tip about images of child sexual abuse material, as per KFOR.
The Tecumseh Police Department and the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on May 21 at the home of 34-year-old Zachary Lippoldt, following an investigation sparked by the tip. According to a report by FOX25, detectives from Bixby Police initially identified Lippoldt as the suspect in question, and notified the ICAC Unit in Tecumseh.
Lippoldt now faces a slew of charges, which include 15 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and one count of violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. He was arrested, booked into Pottawatomie County Jail and is being held on a $200,000 bond, as detailed in a KOCO article. The origin of the investigation, a cybertip, was provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to the Bixby Police Department.
