The Wake Forest Police Department is reaching out to the public for help in finding Serena Marie Hoover, a missing person whose last sighting was on Tuesday, around 8:30 p.m. near the 1700 block of Main Divide Drive in Wake Forest. Residents of the area and anyone with potential information are encouraged to step forward.
According to the official report from the Town of Wake Forest, 41-year-old Hoover is described as having blonde hair, blue eyes, standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing approximately 170 pounds. During her last known appearance, she was wearing a light blue shirt, black leggings, and light grey socks—but no shoes, a detail that adds urgency to the search.
Police have noted that Hoover may be suffering from a form of cognitive impairment, which raises concerns for her safety. While she is not considered a danger to either herself or others, the situation is pressing as individuals with cognitive issues are particularly vulnerable when missing.
Authorities are keeping an open line with Hoover's family, ensuring that communication remains seamless during this trying time. The community is urged to assist by reporting any sightings or information they might have regarding Hoover's whereabouts.
