In a recent announcement, Arapahoe County Human Services has been honored with the C-Stat Distinguished Performance Award, a noteworthy recognition of their commitment to providing timely and effective aid to residents in need. This year marks the sixth occasion that the county has received this award, setting them apart as a leader among large counties within the state for consistently meeting or surpassing established state performance criteria.

Commissioner Carrie Warren-Gully underscored the dedication of the staff, explaining, "This award is really a reflection of the heart and hustle our staff bring to the job every day," according to the Arapahoe County News. Warren-Gully continued, "When residents reach out for help, they’re often facing some of the hardest moments in their lives, our teams show up with urgency, compassion, and a deep commitment to service."

The accolade derives from the county's performance in the C-Stat measurement system, which demands that counties achieve over 75% of the monthly goals set by the state. For Arapahoe County, 2024 was a standout year, with an 83.9% success rate in providing services promptly, an indication that the county is a reliable provider for assistance ranging from child abuse reports to SNAP enrollments.

This commitment to service is more than a statistic; it personalizes each interaction the county's human services have with residents. "Behind every data point is a person—a child who needs protection, a family looking for food support, a senior trying to stay safe and independent," Warren-Gully told Arapahoe County News. In 2024, an improvement of nearly 12% from the preceding year, Human Services met every monthly performance goal, signifying their ongoing commitment to the community.
