
Early Sunday morning, a tragic crash in Aurora claimed the lives of two people, a woman and a teen girl, after an 18-year-old male driver allegedly ran a red light. 9NEWS reported that the incident involved three vehicles and occurred at the intersection of East Alameda Parkway and South Airport Boulevard around 2:49 a.m. Aurora Police responded to the devastating scene where they found fatalities and several injuries among the involved parties.
According to The Denver Gazette, the deceased were traveling in a Hyundai when struck by the teen's Audi. The Hyundai's occupants, identified as a 37-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl, died on impact. The Audi driver and his 16-year-old female passenger were taken to the hospital, with the former sustaining serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A Toyota sedan was also involved; parked in a turn lane, it was hit, leaving the driver with minor injuries.
