
At the 147th Annual Training Conference & Expo in Fort Worth, the pressing issues facing law enforcement today took center stage, with the Collin County Sheriff's Office playing a pivotal role in the discussions. According to a social media post from the Collin County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Jim Skinner and Assistant Chief Mark Bristow attended the conference hosted by the Sheriffs’ Association of Texas.
In his role representing the National Sheriffs’ Association, Sheriff Skinner gave a briefing on government affairs. The issues on the table were expansive, spanning from legislation and federal funding to jail operations, border security, and public safety initiatives.
