The Detroit Police are urgently requesting the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Phillip McKenzie III, who vanished from his home in the 9000 block of East Jefferson Avenue on Wednesday. As reported by ClickOnDetroit, the young boy has not returned since.
Little information is available regarding Phillip’s last seen attire, and an air of concern hangs over the community, and family members await any news. Those with any information are urged to come forward. The boy is described as standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, with brown braids, weighing approximately 85 pounds, and with brown eyes.
In a digital effort to widen the search, the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons Unit echoed the call for help on social media. "Please help us find missing Phillip McKenzie III. If you have any information, please call Detroit’s 7th Precinct at (313) 596-5740," stated a message accompanying a photo of Phillip on Facebook.
