Residents of a Flynn Street home in Fall River encountered more than just an unwelcome guest yesterday when police uncovered a small cache of weapons and drugs. Following a call about an unwanted party, officers from the City of Fall River's Patrol Bureau rapidly assembled proof to secure a warrant and raid the residence, as reported in a social media post by the City of Fall River Police Department.
Upon their well-coordinated response, the city's police arrested 44-year-old Paul Langley. During the search, they discovered illegal firearms, including a Ruger .357 Magnum revolver and a Jennings .22 caliber handgun, as well as roughly 28.9 grams of cocaine. The bust also yielded $3,100 in cash and various calibers of ammunition. The social media announcement detailed the items seized and elucidated that Langley now faces multiple charges including the possession of firearms without a permit, cocaine trafficking, and improper firearm storage.
The Fall River Police Department praised the combined efforts of the Patrol Bureau and the C.A.S.T. Unit for their swift action. "We commend the collaboration between our Patrol Bureau and C.A.S.T. Unit for their swift action and continued commitment to keeping our community safe," the department's post read. This operation underscores the ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug trafficking and gun possession in the city.
