In the latest round of judicial appointments, Governor Jared Polis has named Kimberlee R. Keleher to serve on the Phillips County Court in Colorado's 13th Judicial District. The move, effective immediately, comes in the wake of the Honorable Kimbra L. Killin being elevated to the district court. Keleher, currently an Associate Attorney at Keller Law, LLC, steps into her new role with a diverse legal background.
Keleher boasts a career that spans over a decade in the legal field, including significant experience in property, probate, and municipal litigation. She's not new to the governmental legal scene, having served as an Assistant County Attorney for Logan County from 2015 to 2025. Prior stints were also noted, including time as an Associate Attorney at The Frickey Law Firm and a Deputy District Attorney for Weld County. Keleher's academic credentials were laid out: a B.A. from Chadron State College and a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, according to the Colorado Governor's Office.
The transition for Keleher represents a significant step, one that underscores her progression from managing local municipal matters to adjudicating cases within the county. The appointment is also a testament to Governor Polis's confidence in her ability to bring a practiced legal mind to the bench of Phillips County. Keleher's commitment to the law and her breadth of experience within Colorado legal sectors ideally position her to navigate the complexities awaiting on the county bench.
