Hawai‘i Island police are actively seeking the public's help to find 15-year-old Shadden Nasario-Rodrigues of Hilo, reported as a runaway. According to a police notice, Shadden, alongside his 13-year-old brother Chazin Nasario-Rodrigues, was first reported missing in late May. While Chazin was soon found in good health, Shadden was also located but has since fled again on the night of June 20.
Police have increased efforts to locate the missing youth amid ongoing concerns for his wellbeing. Shadden was last seen quickly leaving the area near the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo. He has a medium complexion, is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs around 120 pounds. His identifying features include short black hair, brown eyes, and scars on his right collarbone and above his left eyebrow.
While there has been no recent sighting since his latest departure, the authorities are determined to carefully comb all potential leads.
