
A Jacksonville man is facing a serious slew of charges following a JSO Narcotics Unit and SWAT team raid on a Wright Avenue home, law enforcement uncovered a substantial cache of illicit drugs together with guns and drug-making paraphernalia.
Last week's search warrant execution has left Tyre Curry, 36, facing six felony charges, including trafficking and possession; a veritable drug market was discovered within the residence consisting of 807 grams of cocaine, 192 grams of methamphetamine, over a liter of liquid promethazine, ecstasy, fentanyl, various marijuana products, and an array of other controlled substances, along with a stolen firearm among two found, $5,074 in cash and tools used for drug processing with detected residue.
According to an official release from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the seized items paint a stark picture of the operation once thriving at the investigated locale: evidence of extensive drug trafficking activities with a street value tallying up in the tens of thousands of dollars.
The city’s efforts to fight illegal drug activity continue, with Tyre Curry now facing serious legal consequences.
