
A verbal altercation between a 26-year-old man and a 33-year-old man escalated outside a bar in Pearl City last Saturday evening. At around 8:15 p.m., the 33-year-old suspect left the scene and later returned in a vehicle, attempting to hit the victim, as reported by the Honolulu Police Department.
The victim jumped onto the hood of an approaching car to avoid being hit. The suspect then reversed the vehicle, causing the victim to fall and become pinned between parked cars. The victim sustained minor injuries and was reported to be in good condition, as stated by the Honolulu Police Department.
A suspect was arrested on a charge of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree after an assault in Pearl City, according to the Honolulu Police Department on their Facebook page. "The suspect fled the area but was later located and arrested by District 3 Patrol officers." The suspect’s identity has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
