In the Bronx, the forecast indicates slightly higher chances of precipitation compared to other boroughs. A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is noted for tonight. On Sunday, the heat index is projected to reach up to 98 degrees, with a 60 percent likelihood of precipitation.
Staten Island is expected to experience partly sunny skies today with a slight chance of showers, similar to conditions in Brooklyn and Queens. As reported by the NWS, there is potential for thunderstorms this evening. On Sunday, temperatures are forecast to reach near 90 degrees, with heat index values approaching the upper 90s.
