The Central Detective Division of the Philadelphia Police has issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying two suspects believed to be involved in a series of violent thefts. As reported by the Philadelphia Police Department's news blotter, these incidents took place in the vicinity of Cherry St., Arch St., and N 9th St. from June 14 to June 16, 2025.
The first reported robbery occurred on June 14 at approximately 9:30 PM, when a 62-year-old man was accosted by two assailants after parking his vehicle. Despite his attempts to evade them, he was viciously assaulted, resulting in injuries to his head, legs, and left wrist. Within an hour, at 10:30 PM on the same night, the second incident unfolded as a 27-year-old man was attacked from behind and robbed of his wallet and air pods—the perpetrators left him with facial bruising.
The Philadelphia police have released surveillance images of the suspects, seeking the community’s help in identifying them. The police have urged anyone with information about the assailants or who has witnessed suspicious activity in the mentioned areas to come forward, as the information could be critical to the investigation.
