The seemingly relentless heat wave will continue into the evening with increasing clouds and a low of around 77 degrees. The pattern is set to persist through the week, with Wednesday expected to see cloudy skies in the morning followed by "gradual clearing, with a high near 97" degrees, as per the National Weather Service.
As the week progresses, San Antonio's weather will lean towards mostly clear nights and sunny days. Thursday and Friday will see highs in the mid-90s, and by the weekend, the heat is predicted to ramp up even further. Saturday through Monday are forecasted to be mostly sunny with peak temperatures climbing to near 99 degrees.
Nighttime will bring little relief from the heat as lows are expected to stay in the mid to upper 70s.
