This pursuit, which began on Monday, was triggered by an officer's intuition as they spotted the vehicle making an exit off Tapo Canyon Road, eventually leading to the suspect's arrest on a street near the I-105 and I-110 freeway interchange, according to the SVPD's report.
When the police initially attempted a routine traffic stop, the vehicle gave the illusion of compliance and then quickly shifted gears with the driver gunning the engine abruptly and fleeing the scene.
