Gunfire broke out on Monday around 6:30 p.m. at Basso Bridge in Waterford. Stanislaus County deputies responded and found two males, 43-year-old Christopher Todd and 18-year-old Cody Todd, with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.

After Christopher was taken to a local hospital and Cody was treated at the scene, the suspect, Jacob Gralnik, was located at his La Grange residence later that evening. A two-hour negotiation with SWAT followed before Gralnik was taken into custody without incident, as stated by the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook page, a man identified as Gralnik was arrested after an investigation involving the county’s SWAT Team led to the discovery of illegal firearms and silencers. He faces charges including “assault with a deadly weapon, possession of firearms, possession of a silencer, obstructing an investigation, and an out of county arrest warrant.” Gralnik was booked into the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department Public Safety Center, and the investigation is ongoing.
