On a San José sidewalk, a man was recently subjected to a brutal, gang-related robbery. The San José Police Department responded to the crime, which took place early this year on January 8, around 1:20 PM, on the 100 block of Graham Avenue. According to the San José Police Department's report, an adult male was overwhelmed by multiple assailants who emerged from two vehicles and beat him until he was unconscious, while hurling gang-related slurs.

The San José Police Department's Gang Investigations Unit Detectives launched a thorough investigation, which enabled them to ascertain the identities of the involved individuals quickly. They revealed four primary suspects: 24-year-olds Carlos Robledo and Jose Rivera, 21-year-old Manuel Rios, and a 15-year-old juvenile, all of whom claimed to be documented gang members. This investigation led them to obtain and execute arrest and search warrants for the suspects and their homes.

In a tactical operation last Wednesday, these individuals were found and apprehended within the city limits. During the searches, authorities uncovered a firearm, associated ammunition, and other gang-related materials. The adults were sent to Santa Clara County Main Jail, with the juvenile being directed to Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall, all facing charges related to the gang assault and armed robbery.

The San José Police Department urges anyone with information about this incident or similar cases to come forward. Detective Minkel #5003 can be reached directly at [email protected] or at 408-277-3835.
