The operation that secured the FANG Award for the trio occurred on July 7, 2024, when a suspect engaged in the felonious act of gas siphonage engaged in a foot pursuit after being confronted by law enforcement and with the combined effort of the Air Service unit and the K-9 team, the officers were able to locate and apprehend the individual who was consequently charged with multiple crimes encompassing three felonies and also three misdemeanors.
