According to a social media post from the City of Dunedin, in his new position, Mulkey will be responsible for the city's recreational facilities, the marina, and the golf operations. His plate will also be full with spearheading strategic planning, managing capital improvements, and acting as the city's point of contact for the Toronto Blue Jays.
He fills the shoes of Vince Gizzi, whose retirement came in March after a lengthy 17-year commitment to developing Dunedin's parks and recreational systems.
