Wilmington Police have taken a 28-year-old man into custody on multiple gun charges, authorities report. Dahmere White was arrested following a search warrant execution by members of the Criminal Investigations Division on July 2 at a residence located on the 2800 block of Rosemont Avenue. The operation, which occurred just past 11 a.m., resulted in the recovery of two loaded 9mm handguns.
According to official reports, White has been charged with four counts of Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence. The police managed to take him into custody without the event escalating into an incident.
Following his arraignment in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas, White now faces a $65,000 cash-only bail. The court has ordered his commitment to the Howard R.
