Last Friday, a fire erupted in Broomfield, swallowing a residence on Perry Street in an unforeseen blaze that demanded the attention and collaboration of multiple fire departments. North Metro Fire Rescue District reported that the incident occurred at around 12:30 a.m., and units from Thornton Fire, Westminster Fire, and Broomfield Police were quick to join forces to quell the flames.
On arrival, firefighters were met with "heavy fire in the back of the structure," as detailed in the social media post from North Metro Fire Rescue District.
