At the break of dawn on Tuesday, the well-trodden floors of Denver International Airport (DIA) unveiled the latest development in its Great Hall renovation project, offering travelers a glimpse into a streamlined future. According to 9News, the launch of the East Security TSA checkpoint marks a significant leap towards enhancing DIA's security operations with the addition of 17 new lanes, ready for action as early as 3 a.m.

This checkpoint, mirroring its West Security counterpart unveiled last February, represents an integral cogs in the mechanism of the Great Hall project which eyes modernization as its destination and foresees accommodating 100 million passengers per year by 2028, despite South Security Checkpoint's closure, a journey that Denver's civic leaders believe to reflect the city's commitment to hospitality and safety, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston articulated, "We know that for many, DEN is the first and last impression of our city. With this state-of-the-art checkpoint, we’re ensuring that everyone feels welcomed, protected and ready for their journey," a sentiment captured by KDVR.

Travelers can navigate this new security landscape with ease, thanks to clear signage directing them to both the East and West Security Checkpoints situated at the airport's northern extent on Level 6 near airline ticket counters. As pointed out by Airport Suppliers, the convenience is further streamlined with doors marked for TSA PreCheck, CLEAR, and CLEAR with PreCheck passengers; TSA PreCheck users on the West end should head towards doors 602 and 600, whereas on the East, doors 601 and 603 are your gates to expeditious travel.
