The El Paso County community is on alert after a stabbing incident occurred in the early hours of August 10th at the local Red Sands area. A 31-year-old man sustained multiple stab wounds and required immediate medical attention. Details provided by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, via a social media post, state that deputies responded to the incident at around 2:00 a.m. and found the injured man at the scene.
Sheriff's deputies swiftly stabilized the area and provided life-saving aid before transporting the victim to a local hospital. While the assailant remains at large, having escaped before law enforcement arrived, the office's Major Crimes Unit (MCU), along with Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) personnel, was dispatched and is actively pursuing leads in what has already become a meticulous search for the perpetrator.
