Four individuals were injured, one critically enough to necessitate helicopter transport, in a collision involving two pickup trucks in Robinson Township. The incident occurred yesterday near the intersection of Osborn Street and 104th Avenue, as reported by WZZM 13.
Authorities detailed that a 23-year-old driver from Allendale was behind the wheel of a 2017 Ford F-250, which collided with a Ford F-350 after the former failed to observe a stop sign. This failure led to both vehicles coming to a rest in a nearby field, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, a detail mirrored in a report by MLive.
The Allendale man at the helm of the F-250 sustained serious, yet non-life-threatening injuries and was evacuated by Aero Med to a hospital. Two passengers from the same vehicle also faced varying degrees of harm; a 22-year-old from Ravenna incurred serious injuries, and a 21-year-old from Grand Haven experienced minor ones. The driver of the F-350, a 70-year-old man from Grand Haven, was likewise hospitalized with serious injuries, based on further coverage by the Grand Haven Tribune.
