Following close on the heels of the regular session is the City Council Special Session, slated for September 3 at 6:00 PM. This meeting will to specifically address the FY 25/26 Proposed Budget and also includes a public hearing. Once again, the venue for this significant fiscal discussion is City Hall. This offers a platform for citizens to provide input on matters affecting the local community.

Attendees will get another chance to weigh in on the water/wastewater rates and FY 25/26 budget proposal. The next day, two distinct meetings are scheduled at City Hall: the Code Enforcement meeting at 10:00 AM and the Red Light Camera Hearings at 1:00 PM. These sessions will address specific regulatory and legal aspects of city governance.
Finally, the Planning and Zoning Board Meeting will round out the month on September 23, at 5:00 PM. Like all previous meetings, it will be held at City Hall. For those interested in the development and future land use within the city, this is an important meeting to attend.
