JetBlue is expanding its wings with new destinations and increased service from Boston, setting its sights on the sunny horizons of Florida and the tropical embrace of the Caribbean. Starting December 11, travelers from Logan International Airport and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport can directly reach the shores of Vero Beach, Florida, with JetBlue initiating their first-ever flights to this beach destination. The airline is also reinitiating year-round service to Daytona Beach starting December 4, as reported by Boston.com.

Further asserting their dominance in the Northeast, JetBlue aims to provide more, albeit not lesser, travel options for Bostonians seeking warmth or Floridians chasing northern adventures. "Florida continues to be a place JetBlue's unique combination of low fares and great service resonates, and we're proud to grow our footprint with these new destinations to meet customer demand for more of the Sunshine State," stated Dave Jehn, JetBlue's vice president of network planning and airline partnerships, in a statement obtained by Boston 25 News.

JetBlue's reach doesn't end with Florida. The airline is extending their service to favored winter escapes in Latin America and the Caribbean. Travelers can anticipate daily flights from Boston to St. Thomas, Liberia in Costa Rica, St. Maarten, and Nassau in the Bahamas. They've also added a second Saturday flight to Grand Cayman and Bridgetown, Barbados during the peak season. These additions consolidate JetBlue's position as offering the most flights from Boston to the Caribbean and Florida.

JetBlue has long been recognized for their hybrid service model and this year they have to their credit titles such as the best hybrid airline in the World's Best Airline awards by AirlineRatings.com and a top ten placement for economy class in 2025 by Fodor's Travel.
