At Harry Reid International Airport, light winds are expected to shift to a southerly flow later in the day, with speeds possibly exceeding 8KT and gusts reaching 15–20KT during the afternoon. VFR conditions are forecast to prevail under mostly clear skies, with temperatures rising above 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the late afternoon and early evening.
Across Southern Nevada, Northwest Arizona, and Southeast California, light morning breezes are expected to shift southerly by midday, increasing in strength with afternoon gusts around 20KT. The Mojave Desert is forecast to experience lighter winds through sunset. After nightfall, KDAG is expected to encounter stronger westward winds persisting overnight, while other areas follow typical post-sunset wind patterns.
