During a round-up by KPD on August 19, Clement faced charges for his alleged involvement in three counts of Burglary in the Second Degree, and to add to his slate, he was also picked up on an outstanding $150 bench warrant for Failure to Appear, as detailed in the press release. Closely following this apprehension, on August 21, a minor was also detained in connection to the burglaries, though as per juvenile privacy laws, names and specifics about the youth have been withheld.

Assistant Chief Darren Rose expressed gratitude for community cooperation in the ongoing inquiry, stating "Mahalo to everyone who came forward with tips during this investigation," acknowledging local involvement as an essential component in addressing crime; Rose's statement was confirmed in the press release.
