A log truck accident this morning caused traffic delays and lane closures on Interstate 10 in Baker County. According to News4Jax, logs spilled across the westbound lanes just before Highway 90, and the crash resulted in injuries.
The Baker County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook around 10 a.m., advising drivers to avoid the area. Action News Jax reported that both westbound lanes east of mile marker 324 were initially closed.
One lane reopened by 11:46 a.m., and all lanes were cleared by 1:50 p.m., according to First Coast News.
Authorities and the Florida Department of Transportation worked to manage traffic and remove the logs. Drivers were advised to proceed with caution while cleanup continued, and traffic has since started returning to normal.
