Thompson, meanwhile, has been charged with possession of marijuana. The arrests occurred on Wednesday, as the result of a search warrant executed in Macon, wherein agents managed to seize a considerable quantity of drugs, including suspected powder and crack cocaine, ecstasy/MDMA, marijuana, and methamphetamine, as well as firearms and cash. The GBI press release also noted that the aim of the collaborative investigation was to "make an impact on the current drug distribution and gang activity within Central Georgia and to promote a safer place for productive citizens."
