
A fatal house fire claimed the life of a man in Jefferson, early Saturday morning, as reported by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. According to FOX 8 Live, the blaze occurred in a single-family home located at the 3000 block of D’Aquin Street around 12:55 a.m., devastating the attic before first responders could control the situation, a demise brought forth amidst the unsparing nature of an accidental blaze.
Emergency services, upon arriving, found an "unresponsive adult male located inside a room... He was suffering from fire-related injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene," according to a statement obtained by NOLA.com. At this juncture, the identity and age of the victim have not been released.
