With a lifelong connection to the sphere of public safety, as disclosed in a social media post by the Blaine Police Department, Justin Adamski has taken on the mantle, managing a fleet of over 70 vehicles under the direction of the Patrol Sergeant and supporting both officers and community service officers (CSOs).
Described as a carousel of never-ending responsibilities, Adamski juggles numerous tasks, from meticulously sifting through vehicle service emails to executing daily operations alongside the Police Mechanic at Blaine Public Works, all while being at the beck and call of the Patrol Captain and his team on the move; according to Adamski in the same social media post, this variety is embraced as a constant in Blaine, a bustling city teeming with diverse events and encounters that assure him no two days are alike. With a past including stints as a Northtown Mall security supervisor and youth hockey referee, Adamski brings a rich palette of experience to his current role, which was preceded by educational endeavors yielding an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement from Century College and Hennepin Technical College in 2019.
When speaking to the essence of his job, Adamski attributes the success of his position to the network of dedicated individuals he relies on, stating, "I am very fortunate to have an exceptional team of men and women behind me," as he regards his connections as indispensable to the execution of his duties. Much of his satisfaction with the job, as he told the Blaine Police Department, stems from the diverse interactions and the chance to witness first-hand events like the NAHL Robertson Cup and the 3M Open, slotting the city of Blaine as a veritable crossroads of life's rich tapestry.
Reflecting a balance in his life, Adamski's travels to Charleston, South Carolina, connect him to his grandfathers' military legacy, while his urban adventures in New York City echo his suburban roots and yearning for the cosmopolitan rush; the thrill of such contrasting locales illustrates his appreciation for both the serene and the kinetic. Influenced by the likes of Sir Ernest Shackleton, who once proclaimed, "Fortitudine Vincimus," or "Through endurance, we conquer," Adamski embraces a mantra grounding his approach in both his line of work and personal ethos, should law enforcement not have been his calling, Adamski sees himself casting lines in the world's serene waters, seeking refuge and contentment in the globe's tucked-away fishing sanctuaries or a modest cabin in Ontario, showcasing an individual not defined solely by his badge but by a broader compass for life.
