The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout following a break-in at the Ripley One Stop convenience store. In the early hours of Thursday, Deputies were dispatched to the scene after an alarm signaled a possible burglary at the establishment, situated at the crossroads of Hwy 115 and Grouse Road, in Green Prairie Township, north of Little Falls.

Upon arrival, deputies soon noticed a window on the east side of the building had been removed, signaling to them a forced entry had occurred. Inside, staff highlighted several vape canisters that seemed "to be out of place," possibly hinting at the intent of the theft. The Sheriff's Office believes that the suspects, potentially clad in dark attire and masks, may have fled on bicycles. To try and track their escape, a K-9 unit was deployed to trace a path south of the Ripley One Stop, navigating through neighboring yards and down the rough gravel between Grouse and Ginger Roads.

The local authorities are now turning to the community for aid, requesting anyone who may have observed any unusual happenings during the timeframe in question to come forward. They are particularly calling on residents with surveillance cameras to diligently review their footage for any potential evidence. Information that could prove beneficial to the investigation can be reported to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office directly at 320-632-9233, as urged in a statement from their office.
