Early this morning, tragedy struck Southwest Baltimore as a 37-year-old motorcyclist was fatally struck by an SUV. According to The Baltimore Banner, the accident occurred around 6 a.m. on the unit block of North Martin Luther King Boulevard. Responding officers discovered the victim unresponsive, having sustained injuries too severe to survive.
The driver and a passenger of the SUV were reported to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were subsequently taken to a local hospital.
Authorities have yet to fully determine what led to the crash. However, the Police Department's Crash Team detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, as reported by FOX Baltimore.
