The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles is accepting applications for a new operator to run the Robbinsville license plate agency as the current contract, held by Graham County Services, Inc., is set to expire on February 13, 2026.
According to North Carolina Department of Transportation press release, the agency, located at 36 Tapoco Road, will accept only emailed applications. Forms MVR-93A, MVR-93B, or MVR-93M are available on the Connect NCDOT website and must be submitted to [email protected] by August 28. Questions can be directed to 919-615-8521.
This opportunity follows the division’s policy of opening applications at the end of a contract or when a new agency is needed. Services provided include vehicle registration, title transactions, and tag renewals. North Carolina currently has 130 license plate agencies, and many services are also available online at NCDMV.gov.
