As reported by CBS17, the victim is currently in critical condition, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation confirmed that the incident, which occurred around 4:12 a.m., forced all lanes to close, causing a traffic jam that persisted even after roads reopened around 9 a.m., affecting numerous commuters.
